Terms of service

You upload a PDF, place fields on it and send a link. Your recipient confirms a code we email them and signs in their browser. When the last person signs we hash the finished document and record that hash as an integrity seal, and every event on the way is chained to the one before it.

Sign Here produces electronic signatures and an evidence record about them. Whether a given signature is legally binding depends on the law where you and your signer are and on the kind of agreement it is. Some documents, in some countries, require a form we do not produce. That judgement is yours, and we do not give legal advice.

• Sign-in is a link sent to your email address. Anyone who can read that mailbox can reach your documents, so keep it secure.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• You are responsible for what you send: that you may send it, that the addresses are right, and that the people on it agreed to be contacted.
• Everyone in a workspace can see every document in it. Invite accordingly.

• Anything unlawful, or any document you have no right to circulate.
• Malware, or a file crafted to attack a reader.
• Bulk unsolicited mail. The signing invitation is not a mailing list.
• Anything that impersonates someone else in order to obtain their signature.

We may suspend an account that does one of these. Where we can, we tell you first.

• The free plan sends 3 documents a month. Solo sends 20. Business is unlimited and seats up to 3 senders.
• A document is counted when it is sent. Uploading, editing and abandoning a draft cost nothing.
• The allowance runs on calendar months in UTC and belongs to the workspace, not to each member. It does not carry over.
• Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown on the plans page in your currency, and the amount at checkout is the amount on that page.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. The amount on the plans page is the amount charged.
• We may change a price. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you may cancel before then.

Cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then returns to free. Nothing is deleted: every document you have already sent keeps its audit trail, its signed PDF and its certificate, and a signing link already sitting in somebody’s inbox keeps working.

Refunds are covered separately on the refund policy, including your right to withdraw.

You keep every right in what you upload. We store and process it to run the service you asked for and for nothing else. We do not read your documents, sell them, share them with advertisers or use them to train any model. What we store and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

We aim to keep the service running and we do not promise it will never be unavailable. The service is provided as it is, without a warranty that it fits any particular purpose.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not let us limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

You may close your account at any time by writing to contact@signhe.re. We may end it on 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you breach the section on what you may not send. Where we end it without cause we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

We will post any change here and update the date at the top. Where a change matters to you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the law of the country in the registered address above, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law where you live, and you may bring a claim in your own courts.
